So let me start by truthfully saying that I'm not a racist. I could care less what color you are, what gender, creed, sexuality. Whatever floats your boat floats mine, but I will admit that I am kind of racist when it comes to the way FASHION portrays itself. All you see in Fashion magazines (any magazines but magazines intended on a specific race) is white women. All you see on fashion commercials are white men and women. Why does the fashion world do that? Why is it that the runway is covered with one color or women or men?
Now, for the newest Vogue magazine I don't have a problem. Others do! Why? 50 years ago you wouldn't see Lebron or Giselle together on a magazine. You wouldn't see them even in the same room. I think that the cover shows people that once again people are people no matter what color.
What do you think?
Do you think that the fashion world is racist? That separate magazines for different races is right? and is it racist for LEBRON AND GISELLE to be cover mates?
oh..and ps. I'm not trying to argue I just want to know others opinions. I don't want this to be blacks against whites or any other race thing. We are all living on the same planet so let's be cool okay! We're all adults here (well..maybe!)
