Wine labels.



So this post is going to be about wine labels. Or in other words, "The picture on this bottle is so effin awesome!!" (Though those wine glasses hurt my eyes. ^)




That's the back of the bottle. Apparently the "ingredients" or whatever are a whole LOT of bitch. And then some more.

It tastes pretty cool actually. Here's some links:

It was in fact Bitch wine that got me started on this whole "wine label" trip and now I can't stop. Everytime I'm in a wine store I look at all the labels before I buy anything. So fascinating and they all vary by store since every store varries a little in what they carry. Great wine labels range from the hilarious (PlungerHead Wine) to the Erotic (Zin Sin) and everything else in-between (Vampire Wine).

These are some great labels I've discovered along the way, though hardly a complete list.

Oh lord, best post in aaaages! I'm hopeless when I'm buying wine - I always look at the bottle more than the descriptions... I know zero about chardonnay or merlot or what-EVER, but the bottle has to be cool!

Ha ha, oh my, these are great. I've seen a few of these, such as EVIL, but never have tried any. I'm a wine snob since Europe tamed me and so I have always chosen based on taste or date, but now I think I'm going to be a label snob and get some beautiful bottles. Thanks!

cunning.

:D i think that the labels make the wines taste better mentally. like some kind of awesome enchantment or jedi mind tricks. the label kind of creates a story about the wine and i become curious about how that story tastes.

i want to go to a wine-tasting party in Europe.

that reminds me of a funny story about this one girl who stayed with a host family in france. apparently, the family always had very expensive wine out on the table whenever guests were over...

....but turns out it was the same bottle over and over that they filled up with cheap wine to save money. :X lol.

I would probably buy any one of these bottles because of the packaging. And then I'd drink it all by myself because they probably wouldn't be very good. And then I'd keep the bottle and everytime I would look at it I would just think, "man, bad night."

this made me thirsty :) While I definitely got an appreciation for wine from my mom, I'm more of a beer girl, myself. And one of my favorite breweries is Magic Hat, which is in Vermont. They not only manage to deliver some really fantastic beers, they also dress them up nicely before they send them off into the world:

There's an amazing wine label with "Pink" as part of the text and a blonde with Farrah Fawcett-esque hair, but I can't for the life of me think of the proper name.
They sell Bitch at my local bottle-o :)

beautiful post. thank god its friday.

i've had cycles gladiator and house wine. cycles is my favorite so far (the pinot noir is to dieeee for), but i'm going to look out for some of these too. i love keeping wine bottles, and sticking candles in them later on.

wow i never even knew wine bottles came with crazy labels before, i stick to cheap but nice white wine! ive never liked anything else haha but i think id have to force myself to drink one of these if i saw it in a shop xD they are amazing!

when i found out that wine labels this great existed, it was like the clouds opened up and the universe shone down upon me with Awesome Rays. so i had to share!
i'd gotten very used to just seeing the typical "picture of winery" label so this was so very refreshing.

There are some gorgeous bottles there, would love to give them a try too ;)

This is one my boyfriend and I found while looking for a nice botrytis, and as soon as we saw the label we immediately snapped it up :)
